Jillian Noel Shennessy born November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician that was acknowledged for her contributions for American television. She's famous for her stellar performances in the American TV series Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy was also able to showcase her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she wrote and directed these films. Hennessy kickstarted her acting career with her sister in 1988 as the twins of callgirls on Dead Ringers. She had a brief stint as a character on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990 before moving into the realm of sci-fi in 1993, playing the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The following year the biggest breakthrough came when she joined the NBC's sensational drama Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid.
